Lately, we've had a whole lotta rain. Like flooding rivers and *gasp* water flowing where a river once was. We're not out of the woods with this whole drought thing, not by a long shot. But it sure feels good to have the rain come down.
The weather made me think about our book shelf and in particular of "the rain came down". I love this book, love love love it and more importantly the kids' love it too. The gist is that these people are grumpy as the rain comes down and then once the sun comes out they all make up and help each other out. Full of funny drawings typical of David Shannon.
